Marvel Rising: Initiation are a series of six digital shorts about Gwen Stacy and her new identity Ghost-Spider. The shorts are written by Mairghread Scott. This series consists of six, four-minute-long episodes which were released in 2018. It is followed by Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors.
Synopsis[]
Ghost-Spider is framed for her friend’s murder while Ms. Marvel, Squirrel Girl, Quake, and Patriot are sent to bring her in.
Plot[]
The police have Ghost-Spider cornered in a building, calling for her to surrender peacefully. Ghost-Spider crashes through a window and makes quick work of the police offers by webbing them up. Captain George Stacy shows footage of the incident to S.H.I.E.L.D. agents Quake and Patriot, who reveals that Ghost-Spider was responsible for the murder of a boy named Kevin.
