Biography[]
Kamala Khan was a normal 16 year old girl, but when the Terrigen Wave hit, she found out that she was actually an Inhuman. After learning to control her powers, she became a superhero and named herself Ms. Marvel.
Initiation[]
In Initiation, she and Squirrel Girl team up to bring in Ghost Spider. However, the two eventually learn that Ghost Spider was framed for the death of Kevin, and promise to help her.
Secret Warriors[]
In Secret Warriors, Kamala helps a girl who was being bullied, however she eventually runs off. Then she sees Captain Marvel, and takes a video of her.
Later, she and Doreen witness a thief steal from a food cart, and chase after him. The thief was Dante Pertuz, an Inhuman who can manipulate fire. Dante sends a wave of fire at Kamala accidentally, who is saved by Inhuman Victor Kohl, who informs the girls that he'd been chasing Dante, telling them that he'd gone rogue and even burned down his own house. However, Dante escapes and S.H.I.E.L.D agents arrive, leading Victor to disappear through a portal.
The agents were Daisy Johnson and Rayshaun Lucas, also known as Patriot. Daisy tells Kamala and Doreen that Inhumans have been fighting each other all over the world, and they discuss this further. Kamala suggests that they find Victor, who could possibly help them. Then, they also suggest that they could work together, which is shot down by Daisy and Patriot. As the agents leave, Doreen angrily asks them if they even had powers, enraging Patriot. The two heroes ignore the agents and go out to look for Dante and Victor.
Appearance[]
Kamala Khan was a normal 16 year old girl, but when the Terrigen Wave hit, she found out that she was actually an Inhuman. She is a slender and petite teenage girl of Pakistani descent with medium brown skin, dark brown eyes and shoulder-length darker brown hair. However, her shapeshifting powers allow her to take on a number of variations to this, mostly enlarging or shrinking her body or certain parts of it. Her civilian outfit consists of a blue and white sweatshirt with a yellow lightning bolt, blue jeans, and brown sneakers.
As Ms. Marvel, she wears a modified blue and red burkini with a yellow lightning bolt across it not dissimilar to the one on her sweatshirt, a long red scarf, blue boots, a blue domino mask, and a set of golden bangles on her left arm.
Personality[]
Kamala Khan is a devoted fan of Superheroes, especially of her mentor Captain Marvel; she is determined that she too can be a great hero! If only she’d be taken seriously. Kamala is equipped with metamorphic powers that allow her to stretch, enlarge, or shrink her overall size, parts of her body, or alter her physical appearance. She is especially fond of “embiggening” her fists. She is also very sympathetic and a kind person.
Powers and Abilities[]
As an Inhuman, Kamala has the ability to expand, contract, shrink, enlarge, or compress any part of her body into any shape or size the situation demands of her, such as enlarging her hands, stretching and extending her limbs, torso, or neck to great distances, adjust her height and stature along with adding the proportionate strength, speed, durability, and agility of what whatever shape or size she is in.
